ISO 5 Clean Room

At Ezad Cleanrooms, we manufacture ISO 5 standards soft wall and hard wall cleanrooms. These modular designs provide particle protection for applications requiring only moderately low particle concentrations. These need many air changes and allow a limited amount of maximum particle concentration limits per unit.

Complying with all ISO 14644-1 standards, these systems can be appropriately modified to meet your organization’s specific application requirements.

ISO 5 Cleanrooms Particle Count Classifications

The cleanliness standards for ISO cleanrooms are figured out by the particle levels within a specific area in a room. This area is measured for the size of particles and quantity of particles per air volume.

ISO 5 Cleanrooms Standard and Quality Requirements

The classifications for cleanrooms are determined by the size and number of particles allowed per air volume within a set amount of time. The number of changes in the air each hour affects the class rating of a cleanroom. With an ISO 5 cleanroom, that means there must be 29 particles per cubic meter or less ≥5 µm sized particles, 835 particles per cubic meter or less ≥1 µm sized particles, 3,520 particles per cubic meter or less ≥0.5 µm sized particles, 10,200 particles per cubic meter or less ≥0.3 µm sized particles, 23,700 particles per cubic meter or less ≥0.2 µm sized particles, and 100,000 particles per cubic meter or less ≥0.1 µm sized particles. There must also be 240 to 600 air changes every hour and a ceiling covering 35 to 70%.
